1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Dutybound website and game, operated as a Logan Pendragon Forge Lab. By creating an account, accessing the game, or continuing to use the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Dutybound.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your password, and all activity conducted through your account. Do not share, sell, transfer, impersonate, or create accounts through automated means. We may require password changes or restrict access when necessary to protect the service or its users.
3. Fictional entertainment
Dutybound is a fictional police-career simulation. Greybridge, its departments, agencies, personnel, incidents, policies, and legal framework are fictionalized for entertainment. The game is not police training, legal advice, emergency guidance, or an accurate model of any particular jurisdiction. It does not imply endorsement by any real public-safety, government, or military organization.
4. Acceptable use
You may use Dutybound for personal, lawful entertainment. You may not interfere with the service; bypass access controls; probe or exploit security; scrape or overload the site; introduce malicious code; abuse account, recovery, or feedback systems; harass others; upload unlawful material; or use the game to develop or distribute instructions for real-world wrongdoing.
5. Accounts, saves, and availability
Your career is stored with your account. Although reasonable safeguards are used, uninterrupted access and permanent preservation of every record cannot be guaranteed. Features, balancing, content, supported browsers, and availability may change. Maintenance, security events, hosting failures, or circumstances outside our control may temporarily interrupt the service.
6. Ownership
Dutybound, Greybridge, the site design, original writing, software, branding, and original game assets are owned by Logan Pendragon Forge or used under applicable licenses. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service. They do not transfer ownership or permit redistribution, resale, removal of notices, or creation of a competing service from Dutybound materials.
7. Feedback
If you submit feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, you permit Logan Pendragon Forge to use them to operate, test, improve, and develop Dutybound without payment or an obligation to implement the suggestion. Do not include confidential information, personal data about another person, or material you do not have permission to share.
8. Enforcement and termination
You may stop using Dutybound or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, investigation of a violation, or protection of the service. Account deletion is intended to remove the account and connected gameplay records, subject to limited records that must be retained for security, legal compliance, or backup integrity.
9. Disclaimers
Dutybound is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. No warranty is made that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure in every circumstance, compatible with every device, or suitable for a particular purpose. Game outcomes and fictional legal judgments should not be relied upon outside the game.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Logan Pendragon Forge and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, business interruption, or loss arising from reliance on fictional game content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid specifically for Dutybound during the twelve months before the claim.
11. Changes and governing rules
These terms may be updated when the service, legal requirements, or operating practices change. The effective date will be revised when material changes are published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Mandatory consumer protections and applicable law remain unaffected.
